Biregional call for projects ECOSNord Colombia
The ECOSNord Colombia program enables the development of joint research projects between Colombia and France, with the possibility of academic stays in French laboratories, around targeted themes, in order to strengthen scientific cooperation between the two countries. Applications are now open.
ECOSNord is an opportunity to carry out an exchange or a research stay in a French laboratory. Every year, this program contributes to strengthening academic and scientific relations between the two countries, their research institutions and laboratories, in order to increase the capacity to respond to and disseminate knowledge on major issues.
Conditions
- Projects must be carried out by two teams: one Colombian and one French, each with an identified leader. Each team must include senior and junior scientists.
- Projects will be particularly encouraged if they are in line with one or more of the following priorities of Franco-Colombian cooperation:
- Bioeconomy and territory
- Zero hunger
- Sustainable, efficient and accessible energy
- Life and health sciences - towards health autonomy
- Science for peace
- Education sciences
- Smart cities
- Artificial intelligence
- Aerospace issues
- Quantum technologies
- The following criteria will also be taken into account in the selection process:
- Relevance, balanced and complementary involvement of the two research teams
- Scientific quality of the project, innovative character, feasibility, expected scientific results
- Mandatory participation of young PhD researchers in both teams
Conditions
Selected projects will benefit from the possibility of senior and junior mobility from France to Colombia, as well as senior and junior mobility from Colombia to France. Only mission and mobility expenses will be financed.
