The IRD accompanies the careers of generations of scientists and actors committed to the sustainable development of societies. Planet IRD+ aims to extend contact beyond and to nurture the link with them, by offering an alumni network with an online platform and events around the world.

The Planet IRD+ platform gives you access to an international directory of IRD alumni and the IRD scientific community, a mentoring space, job and training offers, calls for international projects and events. It also facilitates networking with scientific and socio-economic players from all over the world.
IRD is present in more than 50 countries in Africa, Latin America, Asia and the Pacific, and in Overseas France. In the face of global upheaval, it promotes research that benefits as many people as possible and puts science at the service of action.
The IRD relies on its network of regional delegations in mainland France and its overseas and foreign representations to organize its collaborations.
