🧠 Health in sub-Saharan Africa: first International Course in Epidemiology and Vascular Neurology in Benin

From September 23 to 27, 2025, the first International Course in Epidemiology, Neuroepidemiology and Vascular Neurology was held in Grand-Popo (Benin ), as part of the Inspire UAC project, with support fromIRD.

Participants from Benin, Nigeria, Togo, Senegal, France and the United States - doctors, clinicians, researchers and professors - came together with a common goal: to anticipate and prevent pathologies with a high social and economic impact in sub-Saharan Africa.

Supported by scientific and academic cooperation, the initiative has strengthened local capacities, disseminated knowledge and contributed to prevention solutions adapted to different African contexts.
