Announcing the 6 nominees for the 2025 Innovation Awards!

Six nominees have been selected by a committee of experts. They will benefit from a week of training in project development and entrepreneurship, and two days of pitch coaching.

At the end of this 2025 edition, two winners will be rewarded for their innovative, high-impact projects at the Blue Africa Summit to be held in Tangiers on October 9 and 10.

The six nominees for this year's edition, whose projects focus on the "Coast and Ocean" theme, are :

• Arame Dieye, young researcher at Assane Secke University in Ziguinchor, in collaboration with UMRs Paloc and Espace-DEV
• Badara Sane, young researcher at UCAD, in collaboration with UMR LOCEAN
• Fanny RIOUAL, PhD student at UBO, in collaboration with UMR LEMAR
• Huyen TRAN, PhD student at Université du Littoral, and LMI LOTUS
• Nicolas GARCIA-SEYDA, Young researcher, IRD, UMR ENTROPIE
• Tobias FISCHER, PhD student at UPF, part of UMR SECOPOL
