This sub-group brings together participants in the "Setting up and writing a research project" module.
The aim of this module is to reinforce the ability of teacher-researchers to design, structure and write competitive research projects, likely to obtain national or international funding. In a context where funding for research and innovation is increasingly based on competitive calls for projects - including in Africa - this course aims to develop the skills needed to respond effectively to the expectations of funding agencies. Participants will be required to work on all stages of project set-up: formulation of objectives, construction of the logical framework, identification of partners, drawing up the budget and drafting the proposal. Particular attention will be paid to adapting projects to the priorities and requirements of the main development funders, who favor applied research that has a concrete impact on public policy.
