The Young team associated with IRD Programme (JEAI) program promotes the emergence or strengthening of research teams from Southern countries, within the framework of scientific partnerships with IRD research units. A JEAI is made up of at least three researchers from Southern countries, based in a developing country and associated with an IRD research unit.The JEAI is set up in a Southern country, in association with an IRD research unit, on a research theme linked to the major societal, health and environmental issues of the day, and benefiting from a favorable institutional environment.
